The latter was released back in July 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. However, Ubisoft has delayed the testing for an unknown reason, though many have. Ghost Recon Frontline was supposed to start its first Closed Beta test today for the next week (October 14th-21st). There will be a Closed Test that players can sign up for if they want to check it out for themselves. ![]() A release date for Ghost Recon Frontline has not yet been announced, but players can sign up to be selected to be part of a closed test occurring in Europe beginning October 14. It will be an ever-evolving experience with new game modes, characters, tactical tools, and maps being added with each coming season. Ubisoft originally planned to hold a Ghost Recon Frontline closed beta test in October 2021, but it made the decision to postpone the test. The game will feature full cross-platform support. The project remains in the early stages of production, but registration for Closed Testing on PC is already open via Ghost Recon Frontline's official website. ![]() So far, the three that will be available for launch are Assault, which supports close-range fire Support, which offers protection and fortification and Scout, a recon specialist build. Frontline still offers the tactical gameplay that fans are familiar with, however, promising a 'large-scale PvP shooter' that expands upon the franchise's core tenets. Other beta news is here, and most of it is notably less abrupt (abrupt is a fun word I will not explain myself): Embers Adrift is holding an alpha test this weekend, and if you’re curious about how the game is holding up after all the changes, the answer in testing form will set you back a cool fiddy dollar. There will also be a variety of different player classes called contractors.
